Precis

In India, education for the girl child has been a raging issue for years. It has been the war cry for many NGOs especially CRY, to fight for this particular right of the girl child.
This musical composition is a tribute to the efforts of CRY and their constant endeavor to improve the plight of female children in the country today.

The beginning of this musical journey captures the joyful mood of the child attending her first day of school. The tolling of the school bell which signifies the end of the day, marks the beginning of a new era for her.
The feelings of the mother and the happiness of the father, who was initially against the child going to school, clearly depict that they are now the happiest and the proudest parents in the world as they watch their little one take her first steps in the world of education.

The journey continues to the next stage where the girl now enters into the confusing and challenging world of the teens where she continues to pursue her further studies. The final destination is reached when she seeks and attains self fulfillment and nirvana, thanks to the efforts of CRY which have evolved her into a woman of substance today.
